Find out what's being said about Sky Purington & her books!

Join us for a peek at what the critics are saying about Sky and her books! Take it away Sky!

As Darkest Memory was released last week, I have no reviews for it yet. Therefore, I decided to share some reviews from previous works. Keep in mind, The King’s Druidess is a short tale that leads into my Scottish Trilogy and Highland Muse is part of a sensational anthology called The Song of the Muses!

THE KING’S DRUIDESS
Sky Purington's The King's Druidess marries a possible past as it were, to fantasy. This evocative tale immediately draws the reader in. It is not merely a window to another world, but a world one can easily believe in, a world one searches the histories for. From the circle of stones to the power of that which is foretold, this is wild and beautiful and beguiling. Purington exhibits a richness of language and an imaginative vision. This story is suggestive, and haunting. It is carried by the power of desire, the power of passion, and the power of desperation. Read full review here.

FATE’S MONOLITH (BOOK I)
I believe Ms. Purington did a good job with this story. She kept me intrigued, I wanted to know more about Arianna and what was happening to her. I loved solving the mystery of the man who's voice she hears. This story is well written and nicely paced… The length is perfect for me, just right to sink into.

DESTINY’S DENIAL (BOOK II)

Destiny's Denial is the second book in Sky Purington's The Mac'Lomain Trilogy, the first one is Fate's Monolith and the third one coming soon is Sylvan Mist. So far I have loved this series and I am anxiously awaiting the third tale.

Magic, dreams and rogue Highland Scots combine to make these stories much more than just time travel. With wizards and prophesies and two families seemingly forever bound Ms. Purington has woven quite an intricate trilogy.

There is so much packed into Destiny's Denial the story is gripping. I couldn't put it down until I finished the last page but don't take my word for it, you really need to read these books. If you have the slightest interest in time travel, Scotland or magic you will be pulled into this story hook, line and sinker. Read the full review here.

HIGHLAND MUSE
I love a story with unexpected twists, striking dialogue and happily ever after endings. Sky Purington’s Highland Muse kept me guessing toward that happy ending. A pleasure to read, I enjoyed revisiting the Greek gods and Muses. I laughed, worried and pondered over Rowan’s experiences with his muse, Melpomene. Ms. Purington wove together the greatness of Scottish highlanders and Greek gods with seamless believability. Read the full review here. (http://www.skypurington.com/muse_review.html)
