It's biography day today at the Chicks of Characterization blog. Here is a little bio from me. I don't want to bore anyone with too much detail, but pretty much all I do is write books or blog posts. Reading is also something I enjoy doing. I work as an editor for an e-publisher so pretty much everything I do is related to writing. I'm kind of a strange person because I am perfectly happy spending time alone at home. My husband is here sometimes and my dogs keep me company all the time, which probably keeps me from turning into a complete hermit. Sure, I'm online quite a bit, but that's not the same as socializing with real people. I saw this special once about serial killers and some of the traits to look for are an aversion to socializing and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I think I might have traits of a serial killer because I don't like to socialize and I have some OCD, but that's probably not what anyone wants to hear. LOL I should delete that last sentence. It's kind of funny though. Anyway, here is my 'serious' bio:

Her lifelong passion for Celtic mythology and storytelling is the inspiration behind her novels featuring fierce warriors, bold women and otherworldly creatures. LOL, on the serial killer thing! Sometimes I think I'm a bit snobbery to "real people" because I'd rather hang out with the pretend ones in my head and in books :) Good luck with your writing!
I can totally relate with the anti-social thing. Perhaps it's one of those ocupational hazzards? Either way, as I tell my hubby, I'm happy as can be hangin' out in my own head! LOL. Can't wait to start reading Cat's Curse. Already own a copy! *Grins* Wishing you many, many sales.

I think creative people in general are a bit eccentric. That must be the price to pay for being able to create stories, songs, art, etc. The cool part is if you really want to kill someone you can do it in a story and no one will know what you are up to. :)
OMGsh... I tend to be be a little OCD at times and I love to be by myself or just my family compared to being in a large group or party, I'm just not comfortable. Serial Killer huh... wait till I tell my DH, lol And here I thought i was just a quiet, private person who was extremely shy. By the way your book looks awesome!!!

I'm quite anti-social. As a kid, we would have family gatherings with aunts, uncles and loads of cousins...but no one could find me.
I would be in a corner, reading a book! Hey, the book didn't get on my nerves! LOL

Kelley, my daughter claims to have CDO -- That's Compulsive Disorder Obessive, in correct alphebetical order. Sometimes I wish for this disorder if it would get my office organized. Best luck with your writing.
