Getting to know Tami Dee ...*Giveaway*

Becoming an author was a dream I never really thought would come true for me. I have dyslexia and believe me when I say, it takes a very long time to put into words the stories that are in my head. Yet, despite the struggle, I adore weaving stories for others to enjoy.

I am a member of Romance Writers of America, Desert Breeze connections, Scriptscence, Celtic Hearts Romance Writers, and San Francisco Area Romance Writers.

I am proud to have been offered a contract for the Mists of Time Viking Series in March, 2009 with Desert Breeze Publishing. All four books, Under A Viking Moon, Dawn of A Viking Sunrise, Beyond A Viking Horizon, and Through A Viking Mist, have become Desert Breeze Publishing Best Sellers!

At the moment, I am working on turning my Mists of Time Viking Series into a screenplay, not an easy task, but wouldn't it be cool if it became a cable TV mini-series? :-)

Thanks, Alexa. I just wish writing a screenplay was not so HARD! It is completly diffrent than writing a book. If you can't see it, or hear it, you don't write it. lol.

Lol, Chicks, I think it will be a long time in the works. (I am on page 6) But I do love to dream. hahhah

So sorry I'm a day late. Tami, your books sound amazing! I'm such a huge fan of anything with vikings in it. And... a screenplay? Very, very cool! I'll certainly be checking out your books.

Thanks, Debby, you're so sweet. It helps more than I can say to have an editor who 'gets' my writing. lol

Hey Tami, I'd love to see your books put into a movie! You and your Vikings deserve it. I had a writing teacher who tried doing a screenplay and said she couldn't believe how hard it was. I know you'll keep at it, and do keep us posted. And please enter me in your giveaway. My new Kindle and I need all the practice we can get! All the best to you.

It is wonderful that you have been able to overcome what some would perceive as a limitation. What an inspiration you are!
Congratulations on the success of your previous novels, and best of luck with the screenplay!

Thanks so much, Pat. I feel better that a teacher said its hard, not just me! I'll keep plugging along, who knows what will happen. :-)
