Getting to know Anita Clenney- Author of Embrace the Highland Warrior...

Anita Clenney is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of paranormal romantic suspense and mysteries.

She grew up an avid reader, devouring Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books before moving on to mysteries and romance.

After working as a secretary, a Realtor, teacher’s assistant, booking agent for Aztec Fire Dancers, and a brief stint in a pickle factory (picture Lucy and Ethel--lasted half a day)…she realized she'd missed the fork in the road that led to her destiny.

Now she spends her days writing about Secret Warriors, Ancient Evil and Destined Love.

Anita lives in suburban Virginia, outside Washington DC, with her husband and two kids.

It's great getting to know more about you! I bet the pickle factory was an interesting experience. Sounds like some of my past jobs (clay mixer for pottery department. LOL)

Thanks so much, Vonda. The pickle factory was one of the most bizarre moments of my life. Yep, probably pretty much like clay mixer.

Hi BJ. The pickle factory was so funny. There were about four of us friends who got a job there. Actually they were processing peppers that particular day. We just kept looking at each other across the conveyor belt, with our hair nets, and we couldn't keep from laughing. I think we may have offended some workers. I feel bad about that, but it was like Lucy and Ethel.

Hi Anita. I don't think I could work in any type of factory. I remember Lucy & Ethel in that chocolate factory. Funny. I had to wear hairnets once. Yucky! LOL. Your book sounds really good. I love Highland Warriors.

Hi Sue. I think that was my last factory, although honestly, if I had to do it now, I think I could do it without laughing.
