In keeping with the spirit of the season, today's SPOTLIGHT is on "Naked on the STAIRCASE," by Skhye Moncrief.

BLURB:

A demon stalks Druidess Aron MacKintosh, trying to use her to gain control of the timeline in present-day Scotland. Time plows toward Samhain when the doorways open between the Now and the Happy Otherworld. She finds herself in a strange alliance with an unusual time guardian, Cowboy. The duo struggles to defeat the demon. If Cowboy can’t earn her trust, the integrity of the timeline could be endangered. Only Cowboy’s charm and southern idea of chivalry has what it takes to leave an ancient evil bound NAKED ON THE STAIRCASE.

Read 1st Chapter

Naked on the Staircase is a Time Guardian Halloween Tale available Today,October 1, 2008 !!

If the cover of this book doesn't turn your head, then the title sure will! I sat down for a brief chat with author Skhye Moncrief to find out what inspired her to write this story. Here is what she had to say.

Skhye Moncrief- NAKED ON THE STAIRCASE was an idea that spurred off another story I'm working on submitting. NAKED deals with the most haunted castle in Ireland and psychic vampires. Of course, that's the "force" out to tear the romance apart. My critique partner told me this story was too scary and intense, that I should tone it down with some slow easy romance scenes. I didn't.

What more could you ask for? Vampires, Psychic abilities and the most haunted castle in Ireland? Don't miss out, hop over to the Wild Rose Press and purchase your copy today!

NAKED ON THE STAIRCASE is 10% off at The Wild Rose Press throughout October in celebration of Faery and Black Rose tales. AND the news gets even better. If you'd like to enter to win the Sony e-reader (details: http://www.thewildrosepress.com/index.php?main_page=redirect&action=banner&goto=94), purchasing Skhye Moncrief's books counts toward your entries! If you buy more than one book in a purchase, you get entered into the contest for each book you buy.

Skhye is also the author of, He of the fiery Sword, Sacrificial Hearts, The Spell of the Killing Moon, Ancient Musings (Calliope's story) Forbidden Eternity, and Sword Song.
