Meet Renee Vincent ...

Renee Vincent's lifelong fascination with the legends and lore of ancient Ireland, and the powerful, compelling Scandinavian explorers and conquerors known as the Vikings, led her to create the thrilling historical romance series, "The Emerald Isle Trilogy".
Book one in the series, Ræliksen, introduces us to Mara, daughter of an Irish clansmen who is loved by both Dægan Ræliksen, a Norse warrior, and by Breandán Mac Liam, an Irish hunter. Ræliksen, a triumphantly successful debut for Renee Vincent, has earned numerous accolades: Winner of two categories by LoveRomanceCafe--"Best Book Cover 2010" and "Best Historical 2010"; a 5 Star TOP PICK from Night Owl Reviews; and #1 Choice for Marissa's Top 5 Books of 2010 at Sizzling Hot Reviews.

The second book in the series, Mac Liam, begins seven years after Ræliksen ends, and it allows us entry into the heart and mind of the soulful Irishman. Highly anticipated and critically well-received, Mac Liam has earned a 5 Star TOP PICK rating from Night Owl Reviews, the “5 Heart Sweetheart Award” from The Romance Studio, and the coveted reader-voted "Book of the Week" award from Long and Short Reviews.

The eagerly awaited conclusion to the "Emerald Isle Trilogy" can be found in The Fall of Rain, which released in December 2011. Like the other works, the final book has also earned several 5 Star reviews from Romancing The Book and Coffee Beans and Love Scenes. Renee recently created a stir among her devoted readers by announcing the upcoming release of The Temperate Warrior in December 2012.

“If I was told I only had one word to describe The Fall of Rain (the entire Emerald Island Trilogy, for that matter), it would have to be "FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!" This story deserves so much more than just a 5 star rating, in my opinion.”

AND INTRODUCING ....... 'SILENT PARTNER'
Availabe from Turquoise Morning Press April of 2011!!!

Grayson Anders has it all. He’s the co-owner of a happening nightclub in downtown Boston , he’s wealthy, and women practically throw themselves at his feet the moment he steps on the dance floor. But profiting from these obvious benefits is not his desire. His passion is dancing and he wants nothing more than to find the perfect dance partner.

Chloe Laroche is a talented artist, but a failing entrepreneur. Her once thriving studio is now on the brink of foreclosure and unless she paints the next Van Gogh Starry Night, she’ll have to cut her losses and say goodbye to her quaint little gallery. Fearing her career is at an end, she drags herself to the local hotspot, determined to drown her worries in the bottom of a shot glass. At least that was the plan…until she lays eyes on a wickedly sexy, swarthy dancer in the club—Grayson Anders.

Unable to resist, Chloe finds herself in Grayson’s arms, indulging in a passionate, out-of-control, one night stand. And when both awaken the next morning, they are consumed with inspiration.

Grayson finds his perfect dance partner and Chloe finally finds her muse. But will her secret destroy both their dreams?

Find out what people are saying about Renee Vincent and MAC LIAM ...*CONTEST*

Reviews:

"MAC LIAM, the second book in the EMERALD ISLE TRILOGY, is a delightful historical romance. Amazing author Renee Vincent carries her readers off to another place and time, allowing them an escape from their own cares. Filled with love, plot twists, secrets, danger, steamy sensual love scenes, an interesting plot, complex, compelling characters and plenty of wit, this is a story you will hate to see end. If you enjoy this story, you will also want to read the first book in this trilogy, RAELIKSEN. Mara’s story, which originated in RALELIKSEN, is continued in MAC LIAM. Having read both stories, I look forward to reading the next book in this exciting trilogy. Be sure to get your own copy. You won’t regret it!"4.5 Blue Ribbons ~ Dottie of "Romance Junkies"

"…the story of Mara continues. With a pen that represents the passion of human emotion, the struggle of love in the times, paired with the wit of memorable characters, Renee Vincent completes the story of Mara and her search for love after the death of her beloved Dægan. Be forewarned: Dægan-lovers, Mac Liam will not disappoint!"

"From the very beginning, where the hero's pain of losing his love is made clear, you are dragged through the story with a desperate need to finish its last page. The love is not only touching, but enthralling. This is an amazing second book for Renee and she does what few authors have the ability to do. She captures the time period, and mixes the dialect with proper English really well to create the whole story.

You feel the hero's desperation with every flowing word and his dreams feel as real as if it were happening to you. It takes a great deal of skill to achieve this, and a talent when it comes to writing this genre. I haven't been taken in by a Historical type book in a very long time, and Renee has restored my faith in the genre. I have to say once you read Ræliksen and Mac Liam, you will want the rest.~Author Kristal McKerrington, Scotland

Get Up close & Personal with Author Renee Vincent...

I am an author with a passionate interest in Irish and Norse history. I live in the rolling hills of Kentucky with my husband and two children on a beautiful secluded farm of horses and hay fields. I have always wanted to be an author, ever since I was about five years old when my parents had given my a "personalized" children's book that featured me as the hero of the story. Seeing my full name in print was where the dream to become an author began. After a career in Radiology and Pre-School Education, two children, and helping my husband maintain a beautiful farm, I finally found the time to write the story that has lived and breathed in me for twelve long years: The Emerald Isle Trilogy.

When I am not writing, I love to spend my time on the back of a horse, whether with my family or with my friends. There is nothing like feeling the sunlight on your face, the wind in your hair, and the power of the animal beneath you as you enjoy the beautiful scenery. Seeing the world from a saddle is, by far, the best view and the best therapy for a heavy heart or a troubled mind. My therapist's name, or my horse's, rather, is "Statues Suddenly Lucky", a full-blooded Tennessee Walker, and of course, he goes by the name of Lucky for short.

I am a sucker for a good cup of coffee (lots of cream and sugar...and whipped cream if I can get my hands on it), great conversation, and a lilting Irish accent. I love to read and I can't resist watching great epic historical movies.
